This is usually generalized, it starts are pale yellow and get darker over time. There are various ways to bleach the teeth, some are At home kits and others are to be performed in the dental clinic by the dentist.
Procedure In Brief
Teeth Cleaning Followed by Polishing
Before the bleaching process begins, the dentist performs a thorough cleaning to remove plaque, tartar, and surface stains from the teeth. This ensures that the bleaching agent works more effectively.
Application of the Bleaching gel
Once the teeth are cleaned and dry, a bleaching gel usually containing hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide is carefully applied to the surface of the teeth.
The teeth are conditioned with bleaching gel for 10-20 mins
The bleaching gel remains on the teeth for 10 to 20 minutes, depending on the desired level of whitening and the strength of the gel.
Bleaching gel is washed off and the teeth are cleaned to remove any residual paste.
After the conditioning time is complete, the gel is thoroughly rinsed off. The dentist ensures that no residue is left on the teeth or gums.
Teeth are completely bleached now. Patient is suggested to use a desensitizing tooth paste for a few days to reduce any discomfort felt by them.
